MISSIONS
As a QA Automation Engineer in Paris, you will be the QA expert of the team. Your mission will be to help build and scale QA automation, in a context where QA processes are still being structured.
You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams, while also benefiting from the support of the Group, whose QA team and QA lead can provide guidance on tooling, best practices, and QA methodology.
Responsibilities
Identify the most critical product workflows and prioritize the scenarios to automate first
Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and/or API scenarios
Contribute to the definition of a pragmatic QA automation strategy adapted to Company’s maturity and business priorities
Help structure a reusable and maintainable automation framework over time
Implemente robust and maintainable automated checks
Analyze defects detected through automated checks and help improve overall product quality
Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand functional expectations and technical constraints and to improve the solution
Contribute to regression coverage and release reliability on priority areas
Explore and, when relevant, implement AI-based tools or approaches to improve QA efficiency
Document automated scenarios, coverage choices, and limitations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices across the company
DESIRED PROFILE
Education and background
Master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
Minimum 2+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software quality engineering
Experience in software company
Hard skills
Hands-on experience with automated testing in web and/or SaaS environments
Ability to design and maintain robust automated test scripts
Good understanding of UI and/or API testing approache
Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar language used in automation
Good understanding of test coverage, regression strategy, and maintainability principles.
Proficiency in SQL, APIs, SaaS, and RESTful API systems
